Something's Afoot Murder Mystery Dinner Theater

The game is afoot with Something’s Afoot—a hilarious musical murder mystery presented by Monticello Acting & Dance Company and directed by Melanie Mays. With a witty blend of musical comedy and whodunit suspense, this charming spoof of Agatha Christie mysteries keeps the audience guessing—and laughing—from start to finish.

Set in a remote English country estate during a fierce storm, ten eccentric guests find themselves cut off from the outside world... and caught in a deadly game. One by one, they’re dispatched by outrageous and fiendish contraptions. As the bodies pile up and the tension builds, the remaining guests must unravel the mystery before it’s too late.

Our interactive and fun-filled MMDT performances are a “let your hair down” good time! Held in the downstairs Perkins Banquet Hall, the show is performed in between courses of the meal. Audience participation is welcome but not required. You’ll have a chance to play super-sleuth and determine who-dunnit, and the best detectives will win prizes including tickets to a future MMDT show!

Friday and Saturday nights at 7 pm, Sunday early dinner show at 5 pm. Doors open one hour prior to the show.
A full cash/cc bar featuring premium beer, wine and cocktails will be available.

Tickets must be purchased and special seating requests received in advance by 9 am on the Thursday before the weekend of shows that you will be attending. Special diet patrons may purchase Vegan or Gluten-Free tickets, or call the office in advance with additional special diet needs.
